The Eagle Parade is a year-long public awareness and fundraising initiative. Eagles will be on display beginning Memorial Day weekend 2017, and will be auctioned off on December 7, 2017.
In 2016, the Seacoast Chapter of Veterans Count hosted an Eagle Parade, and selected the American bald eagle as their sculpture of choice. The bald eagle was chosen for its majestic beauty, great strength and long life. This year, the Manchester Chapter will be hosting an Eagle Parade.
We believe this is a perfect statement for our public art project to raise funds for our veterans, service members, and their families. After the exhibition, which will last for several months, the eagles will be auctioned off on December 7, 2017 and the proceeds will go to Veterans Count. When you participate in our 2017 S.O.S. Eagle Parade, you’ll feel good knowing that .90 cents of every dollar we raise will go directly to providing emergency funds and services to our New Hampshire military families.
